Bending the River: an Oratorio
TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW!
Join us for a one-night-only, intimate work-in-progress performance of Bending the River: An Oratorio—a sonic descent into the underland of Los Angeles.
This evolving piece gives voice to the unseen forces shaping our city, channeling the poetics of water, labor, and time through the infrastructural intervention that is Bending the River. Lauren Bon’s vision reimagines Los Angeles’ kinship with the river that made it possible, drawing up what has been buried and listening for what the land remembers.
With only 100 tickets available, this rare offering will sell out quickly. We invite you to gather with us on Friday, April 11th, at 7 PM at ArtShareLA in Little Tokyo—to listen, to witness, and to immerse in the river’s song.
Bending the River: An Oratorio is a co-production between Metabolic Studio & Overtone Industries.
